Similaun, giant of the Ötztal.
Today we set out from Martin-Busch hut to a king of the Ötztal: Similaun, 3,599m. Near the Ötzi find site, we refuel energy in Similaun hut and then enter the mighty Similaun Glacier for the ascent. After good 1h we reach the summit structure with its unmistakable ridge. 45min later we are at the top. Summit bliss is indescribable. #ötztal #similaun #bergsteigen #similaunhütte
