Description:
Very easy tour suitable even for beginner ski alpinists, but with stunning views of the Dolomites especially the Tre Cime.
ROUTE: Leave the car at the parking lot right next to the Genzianella restaurant, from here ascend the ski slope to Lago d'Antorno 1866m, then follow the road closed to traffic in winter and groomed by snowmobiles to Rifugio Auronzo 2320m. Pass right in front of the refuge continuing to its right follow the summer road to Rifugio Lavaredo 2344m, from here on the left of the refuge follow the wide valley that soon takes you to the pass, from where you enjoy a splendid view of the north face of the Tre Cime and the countless surrounding peaks.
