In January 2023, a skialp and freeride camp for advanced participants took place under my guidance in the area of the Schladming – Gelsterberg ski resort. From the perspective of weather development, it was a quite interesting period – at the beginning there was essentially no snow at all, and on the last day there was so much that it was almost impossible to ski on less steep slopes. It is clear that the first turn could not differ more from the second.
