25/04/2022. At Passo di Monte Croce Carnico thick fog giving little hope... but as soon as we exited the tunnel into Austria the fog cleared revealing a blue sky and sun. It's legend now, Silvia clears the clouds, whoever wants to try just take her on a trip... Managing the Valentina without tracks at season's end is truly rare, today we were the only ones and Stefano tracked the entire ascent. Yesterday's very wet snow up to the highest altitudes still gave us an immaculate environment with suggestive clouds chasing up to about 2000m, above that nice sun and a sea of clouds at our feet covering the horizon. The ski descent was really decent to about 1800m, then snow gradually more wet but we couldn't ask for more today.
