Snowshoe Tour to Baumgartenköpfl in the WILD KAISER

In the semester holidays we go to Tyrol to the Wilden Kaiser for a few days, the weather is rather modest but we want to use the time anyway, yesterday we were at Gruttenhütte and today we wanted to see the other side, for that we chose Baumgartenköpfl or Brennender Palven, past Gaudeamushütte where we wanted to do our first excursion the day before yesterday, this time we wanted to climb higher, there were no tracks or some older ones but still we make our way up to the first hut where we take a short break, the sun is still with us here, then it continues up to Baumgartenköpfl where we unpack our snack. We enjoy the great panoramic view and as the weather gets worse we decide to take the way down. Relatively quickly we are back at the parking lot where the sun suddenly shines again. A great, though short but scenic trip comes to an end and unfortunately our short trip too as tomorrow's day with continuous rain doesn't allow a tour, but we'll come back!
