Description:
Sokolie (1171.5 m a.s.l.) is a peak and name of part of the mountain ridge in the northern part of the Krivá Little Fatra.
The summit and ridge form rocky formations. This massif runs axially from southwest to northeast and is 4.5 km long. In the north, the massif is bounded by the Tiesňavy and the Varínka River, where the boundary with the Boboty massif is. In lower positions, the massif is formed by dark gray limestone, while the main part consists of dolomites from the Middle and Upper Triassic.
