For such a short 1 1/2 hours hike this tour rewards its hikers with breathtaking views all around, including of the impressive rock faces of Rochers-de-Naye and Lake of Geneva. You get off one station before the end station, at La Perche, and enjoy the leisurely climb on a well-secured path through the rocks up to the ridge of Rochers-de-Naye. We thought about going up through the caves, but when we discovered it would be a crawl on wet earth rather than a walk we turned around and took the normal path. Arriving at the top, you can eat at the restaurant and then take the train back down. If you stay in the area of Lake Geneva, this tour is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the mountains.
