Wednesday, Dec 20, 2017 – After seven years back to Monte Baldo from Spiazzi side (Caprino Veronese), car left just beyond Malga IME. Then (early Jan 2011) snow fresh and plentiful. This time trail trace only icy white, crampons all hike. Yet windy solitude of great ridge, intense blue of Lago di Garda, white mountains garlanding north Alpine (truly!)... speak to heart. Fine moments at Costabella summit (2053 m), all bundled against icy wind.
