A shorter variant of the Stonemantrail Dolomiti, but still spectacular throughout!
This time we treat ourselves to the luxury and cover the first 700 Hm from Sexten with the Helm cable car. With our own muscle power, from the mountain station we tackle the 400 Hm and 4.5 km to Sillianerhütte 2,447 m. A fierce storm makes us fight hard. Another 50 Hm we push our bike to the highest point and enter the Stonemantrail. Flowy to the first push sections and on to the legendary Demut Passage. Only few hikers and bikers around. Continuing between 2,500 - 2,300 m altitude over 9 km to Kniebergsattel 2,329 m. Here we leave the Stonemantrail and take the racy alpine piste DH to Nemesalm and in descent on gravel to Moos and short on road back to Sexten.
