Vápeč (955 m a.s.l.) is a peak in the Strážovské vrchy near the village Horná Poruba. From this peak, adorned with interesting rock formations and a wooden cross, opens a magnificent panoramic view, which many tourists consider one of the most beautiful in Slovakia.
