Description:
Rokoš (1009.9 m a.s.l.) is the second highest peak of the Nitrické vrchy, a geomorphological sub-unit of the Strážovské vrchy. It is located in their southernmost part, on the border of the Prievidza and Bánovce nad Bebravou districts, above the village of Nitrianske Rudno. The forested summit offers no view and is part of the protected area of NPR Rokoš.
