ROUTE: Uhrovské Podhradie - Uhrovský hrad - Kňažinové lúky - Rokoš - Uhrovské Podhradie.
Uhrovský hrad is a castle ruin in the southern part of Strážovské vrchy, above the village of Uhrovské Podhradie. The castle was built in the mid-13th century in inaccessible terrain of Nitrické vrchy. Thanks to its location, the castle was not in the center of major battles, and even Turkish troops did not destroy it during their raids.
