A water mirror positioned under the bulk of Testa di Malinvern with its almost 3000 meters (2939 m), a very frequented tourist destination due to the nearby Rifugio Malinvern, reached via a dirt road. The lake is on the path to Colletto di Valscura, 1.5 hours from the refuge.
