We had dreamed so much of this sunrise at the top of Pelvoux but we were so far from imagining the shock we would get
Everything started under a scorching sun. I'm a bit physically struggling, the sequence of outings is starting to be a bit tough, the backpack weight and heat not helping either. Arrived at the hut, we decide to go up to the Sialouze bump at 3200m to save time tonight. Total 1600m elevation for the first day. 'Only' 800m more elevation including 600m couloir in the early morning!
