Amden is a Swiss commune in the canton of St. Gallen, located in the See-Gaster district. It borders to the north with the communes of Ebnat-Kappel, Nesslau-Krummenau and Stein, to the east with Wildhaus-Alt St. Johann and Quarten, to the south with Glarus Nord (GL), and to the west with Schänis and Weesen. Amden and Weesen join mountains and lake to form the perfect vacation spot: it's time to take a deep breath, sigh with relief and enjoy the surroundings. A snow paradise especially for families.
