Description:
The bodycheck in the internationally coordinated cABCDE method helps us approach the care of the injured in a structured way. After severe bleeding wounds are treated, we systematically palpate the injured, check airways and breathing. Then determine if internal bleeding is present. After the head check, the bodycheck ends with peripheral control, i.e. arms and legs, or general well-being questions.
