Description:
This pass, embedded in the Giro del Marguareis route, allows one to witness the colors that nature offers (in this case the warm colors of Autumn). From the pass, Mongioie beyond the pines, the nearby Rocca delle Donzelle, Vallone di Carino with Cima degli Arpetti dominating its slopes, Carnino Superiore visible below, Testa di Garibaldi, farther away Monte Bertrand and Bosco delle Navette can be seen. It's an excellent spot to watch the so-called larch and beech foliage. And my girlfriend relaxing after the ascent...
