The canyon-like valley called Tesárska roklina is located in the cadastral area of the village Hontianske Tesáre, in the southern part of the Krupina district. The valley was formed by the incision of a local watercourse through rocks of volcanic origin. Sedimentation - deposition and layering of rocks - is clearly visible on the local rock walls. The attractiveness of the Tesárska roklina, declared a national nature monument for its uniqueness, is enhanced by four waterfalls located here. The largest reaches a height of 8 meters.
