We are near the village of Cargiaca in an intact and ...very wild... area of Corsica. What most characterizes this fabulous canyoning is the powerful water flow, in fact it is rated A5 for aquacity degree (on a scale from 1 to 7). The photos refer to a descent done in August 2015 following moderate rains, and the flow was above normal... . In any case inside unrestrained fun and emotions are guaranteed all year round including summer. Stay away after heavy rains. The route requires a 1.6 km asphalt shuttle feasible also on foot. For the descent we took about 3.30 hours in two without stops.... The state of the anchors is poor, all single and quick links rusted to the limit of...life.... The highest vertical of Chiuvone (Chjuvonu in Corsican) is 22 m, in addition to the emergency rope I recommend a 50 m rope for recoveries outside 'the active'.
