In the Municipality of Capriasca and Val Colla there are over a hundred cup-marked boulders and they are the two regions of Ticino with the most boulders present. Ely and I in our search looked for and found about forty, the most beautiful and interesting ones. Since all these boulders are no more than 1 hour walk away, and thus easy for us two to track down, we kept these two areas as a reserve for research, meaning that when we had little time we went to search for boulders here.
