The Kitz via ferrata is a modern, racy via ferrata in the Kitzlochklamm. A successful sport via ferrata in an extremely scenic setting, the constant rushing of water is the acoustic companion on this tour. The 300-meter route runs entirely in the publicly accessible Kitzlochklamm. This gives a somewhat different, very beautiful view into the gorge. The via ferrata is extremely stamina-draining as many steep traverses have to be overcome. The tour is very exposed almost throughout its length and is very selective and creatively designed; the Höhlensprint variant currently ranks among Salzburg's hardest via ferrata meters.
