Cerro Catedral or Cerro Cordillera, as it is also called, is the highest point of Uruguay's territory, with 513.66 msnm. It is located north of the Maldonado department, in the Aiguá municipality, and belongs to the Sierra Carapé, one of the branches of the Cuchilla Grande.
