Description: 09-08-2011 (Footage taken with Samsung HMX-H100P/EDS Video Camera) The Little Red Rock (Kleine Gaisl) rises between Croda del Becco and Croda Rossa d'Ampezzo, dominating the Fosses plateau. First ascended with mountaineering intent by V. W. Von Glanvell with guide J. Appenbichler in 1894, and on skis in the early 1900s, overall it is not very frequented by hikers. From the summit opens a grandiose panorama on the rocks of Cortina and Val Pusteria. Via trail no. 26, passing Crosc del Grisc, one reaches the entrance of Alpe di Fosses. At the height of the Remeda Rosses lake (almost always dry), leave the marked trail to the right and climb steeply without obligatory path over grassy knolls, debris and rocks, aiming for the Remeda Rosses ridge. Reaching the ridge at 2605 m, cross the small trail marked with red dots that ascends from Rifugio Biella via Forcella Cocodain. Pass a shallow saddle (Sella della Remeda) and continue long over rocks and steps in a lunar environment westward to the top of the crest (small cross).
