Erik Heldmann isn't probably a name that will be known to the most part of the climbing world, unless you often hang around Studio Bloc in Darmstadt that is. Erik can be seen creating boulders and organising his team of route setters working as the head route setter at the climbing gym. Now most route setters we know either head out to touch some real rock at the local crag, but this is where Erik is a bit different from the average climber. For the last 6 years, Erik has been knocking off some of the biggest peaks on the continent, in search of completing the 82 4000 metre peaks challenge.
