Description:
Between the towns of Lanusei and Gairo flows the Rio Sarcerei. Its descent is always pleasant and never demanding (obviously depending on the water flow). To be perfect, it just needs a sunny day and good flow. This time we had only the first element... last time only the second. Along its course, Rio Sarcerei creates beautiful waterfalls and stunning emerald green pools perfect for repeated jumps. The final toboggan is usable only with high flow, but alternatively the very deep pool always allows a nice dive. The most interesting rope descent, despite the height, is not the 55 m one (the highest), but the 45 m one (split into 15 + 30 for easy retrieval) landing in a beautiful pool with exceptional colors. From the upstream parking, you immediately enter the stream bed. The descent takes about 4 hours (depending on the number of participants), while the return requires about 45-50 minutes on an excellent wide trail (steep ascent) plus 10 minutes on asphalt (flat). HAPPY CANYONING
