Description: Glue yourselves to the screen... with stories of men and ledges .... in the 'wonderland' When trekking becomes a show, it's S'Istrada 'e Donneneittu paired with Cengia Ruvio. It is a fabulous and panoramic loop trail that takes place in the high and articulated walls of the right bank of the great Codula di Luna gorge near and around the Gorroppeddu Gorge. S'Istrada 'e Donneneittu is a historic path that the shepherd used to take to the homonymous sheepfold. Essentially, it is a long ledge where, in points where there is no rock to place the feet, two handcrafted very airy wooden walkways have been added. Cengia Ruvio, on the other hand, the fruit of a lucky intuition, was 'discovered' (in the sense that it was not known to the hiking world) by the Sirboni in 2013 and runs through two long amphitheaters on the contour line without ever being dangerous. At first sight impassable due to optical effect and with the entrance almost hidden, this pearl of the Supramonte certainly constitutes one of the most beautiful and evocative passages, providing an alternative to the better-known Scalone Ruvio ascent. In fact, once traversed and exiting from the opposite side, one can climb to Genna Ostuno arriving exactly where Scalone Ruvio arrives.
