In the Supramonte di Baunei, an ancient goatherds' path stands out for its strong exposure to the void. It is S'Istrada Longa, a sort of palace cornice, a ledge in the rock that winds longitudinally along a wall. It conveys very strong emotions without ever being dangerous and was systematically traversed by the Carta Family for daily needs; it is indeed one of the many shortcuts to move in this difficult environment.
