Description: The fabulous Via Ferrata del Cabirol was built in the high cliffs of Capo Caccia and winds at dizzying heights overhanging the cobalt blue sea with an exceptional view of the Fora Dada rock. It is considered one of the most beautiful and panoramic in Europe, and to complete it without rushing, allow about 3.30–4 hours (depending on the group). The route consists essentially of two long horizontal sections (interrupted by small ups and downs) connected by a vertical one. In the first horizontal section, progression is smooth and fast as, except for a few points equipped with steel cables, one walks comfortably on a monumental ledge. Upon reaching the vertical, the real via ferrata begins, with the first thrills... and the first small difficulties. Overall, the via ferrata presents no particular difficulties, it is well constructed, and the cables instill security. Currently, the route attracts people from all over Europe exponentially, translating into a boost for tourism during and outside peak season.
