Description:
The Spreewald: a labyrinth of hundreds of waterways, surrounded by meadows, moors, fields and ancient alder forests, interspersed with small villages with traditional lifestyles. Andrea Grießmann travels to southern Brandenburg and presents the special features of the Spreewald – in spring, summer, autumn and winter. She takes a lantern boat ride at dusk, visits the listed village of Lehde, cycles the ‘Gurkenradweg’ and visits Lübbenau, where you can swim with penguins at Spreeweltenbad.
