Production Associazione vivere la montagna. Luca Bettosini. The Trail of Legends is in Gerra Verzasca starting at the bus stop 'Al ponte'. It is a circular walk suitable for everyone, families and hikers. In 1h30 a fox will guide you in and out of the woods to discover this area of the upper Valley and the world of stories and legends of Verzasca. The forest is an ecological system where different plant species, insects, wild and domestic animals coexist. It is also a cultural space managed with strict community rules, traversed by people and fantastic figures. Along the path, read and listen to stories of talking animals, witches, Crüsc, devils and saints that animate the woods, mountains, pastures of the alps, hamlets, the river or caves of the Verzasca Valley. Legends are the ancient and deep expression that names fears, challenges and human ingenuity in the face of life's and nature's difficulties. At stops 2 and 6 you find the picnic area with tables and games. Respect nature and do not light open fires. Sculptures: every year there is a new sculpture to discover along the trail.
