Description: Easy hike on Alpe Cimbra to meet the Vaia Dragon. The wooden work by Venetian sculptor Marco Martalar is located in Magrè di Lavarone (TN). The dragon was built between October and November 2021 using wood from trees felled by the Vaia storm that hit the area in October 2018. The artifact is very large: 6 meters high and 7 meters long, made of 2,000 wooden pieces and 3,000 metal screws. The route we took is easy and suitable for everyone. It allows, besides visiting the Dragon, a comfortable walk seeing other interesting things in the area like the Austro-Hungarian Cemetery and the local Chalets.
