Lodano is a village in the lower Vallemaggia, located at 340 m above sea level about 15 kilometers from Locarno. Upstream of the village and its vineyards opens a wide valley. The Valle di Lodano, home to a large forest reserve, is an attractive place characterized by a fascinating landscape, composed of precious natural components and enriched by numerous testimonies of traditional anthropic activities. These elements have been enhanced thanks to an important project, characterized by an interdisciplinary approach that considers the landscape in its entirety, which has involved various interventions on the territory supported by historical, naturalistic and scientific research.
