Description:
Pobeda Peak is the northernmost 7,000er in the world, notoriously dangerous and rarely explored due to the risks involved in climbing it. It is the highest mountain in the Tien Shan and is also known as Jengish Chokusu. Few are willing to attempt the summit, notoriously treacherous due to its intractable crevasses, long periods of exposure, and avalanches. It all starts on July 22.
