Description: From Hammersbach through Hölltalklamm and then up Rinderweg to Rinderscharte is a repeatedly beautiful mountain hike, and once you've mastered the about 1,300 elevation meters, it's been some sport. On the way you're not alone of course. But those seeking some peace and a little summit bliss can still climb Hölltorkopf. The alpine sections are now secured throughout with a fixed rope - the path still requires surefootedness and freedom from vertigo, it shouldn't be too wet, but it's easier now than before to reach the solitary summit and look down from there on the bustling activity at Alpspix and the terrace of the Osterfelderbahn - which then spares our knees the 1,300 descent meters.
