We draw attention that the hike from All’Acqua to Chüebodengletscher lake is not to be underestimated, it is a high mountain ascent of about 1,000 meters elevation gain to be tackled if in excellent physical condition, with good knowledge of winter hiking, mountain hazards (in detail: weather, snowpack assessments, avalanche risk, tracking ability uphill and downhill, orientation, etc.) and above all properly dressed and equipped also with ARTVA-shovel-probe devices and ability to use them. All these observations apply both to ski tourers and snowshoe users.
