The ski tour into the Argentière Basin and beyond to Tour Noir is simply an 'eye feast' - you can't rave differently about the views of the jagged satellites of Mont Blanc: it's a visual treat! Whoever takes the small cabin lift up to Bochard (the Grand Montet top station is unreachable), reaches after an hour the first powder snow slopes down to the Argentière Glacier. Fine morning descent onto the flat glacier, which you go far back, before going up over another glacier towards Tour Noir. From there a mix of powder and firn downhill and finally over the Argentière Glacier down to the piste area of Argentière.
