The tour starts at Selzthal train station and leads up a normally steep path towards Hühnerkogel (1400m). Since the days before, in contrast to West Austria, relatively little snow had fallen in East Austria, the Latschenfelder were a very big obstacle in the ascent track. Too big to complete the tour to Dürrenschöberl in an appealing time, which is why I decided to abort the tour.
