Description:
Peischelspitze is not visible from Holzgau. The ascent starts in Holzgau Dürnau over the 'Scheibe' via a steep, well-marked and apparently little-used path. After 3.5 hours of ascent, Peischelspitze is reached. The summit cross had probably toppled due to weather. On the descent, I turned at Scheibe towards Sulztal/Schönau to Stockau. From there by bus back to Holzgau. Overall, a very solitary, beautiful and scenic tour.
