Trail Talk #5 coming at you with Tate “Puppet” from our tramily. This trail talk will be centered around a vegan diet on trail. Lately, it seems as though a plant-based diet is becoming a more common practice in society. However, when it comes to backpacking a lot of individuals feel a vegan diet is quite hard to maintain due to common misconceptions. Puppet joins us to address some of those misconceptions as well as show us how she kept up with her vegan diet on trail. This trail talk is good for the vegan who needs some advice to anyone who is looking to better understand the nuances of a plant-based diet as a thru-hiker.
