Ferratas at Skalka are currently the most colorful and largest ferrata area in Slovakia.
For those who don't know what ferratas are, they can be described as secured hiking trails on rocks. You will of course need ferrata equipment (helmet, harness, fall absorber, possibly gloves), which you can rent directly at Skalka. If you are not into traditional hiking, want to try climbing, are not afraid of heights and have at least some experience moving on rocky terrain, ferratas are just for you.
