Classic loop allowing persistent view and different perspectives of the Tre Cime and their majesty, preceded by long climb with good elevation along Vallon di Lavaredo... Park in Val Marzon and along historic WWI mule track (trail 1104) in steady ascent join the dirt road from rifugio Auronzo... Here starts clockwise loop to Forcella Col di Mezzo on 105 to Rifugio Locatelli, then along track skirting Monte Paterno walls first to Forcella Lavaredo, continue to Cappella degli Alpini on 101, leave it shortly after to descend back on 1104 to parking.
