Description:
The tour is quite long but very exciting, impressing through the multifaceted landscape. The summit ascent from the Rappenseehütte is via the saddle with some scrambling involved, which experienced mountain hikers can master well. If ascending over the saddle, the path is easier to traverse. Around the Rappenseekopf there were still some fairly large snowfields, which didn't trouble us further. On the descent, they were even a great help and accelerated the descent to the Rappensee.
