Kékes is Hungary's highest mountain at 1014 meters.

Location: Heves county, within the Mátra, which is part of the Northern Central Mountains. Interestingly, many refer to the mountain itself and the viewpoint as Kékestető, but actually Kékestető is the name of the settlement there.
