Triglav is not only a popular mountaineering objective, but also an important national landmark. It appears on Slovenia’s flag and coat of arms and is considered a mountain that many Slovenians aim to climb at least once in their lifetime. In winter, Triglav offers a very different experience, with fewer people, more demanding conditions, and a completely different atmosphere compared to the summer season.
