My intention was a solo outing and ski mountaineering in Vallone Ciriegia, in upper Valle Gesso, but with so much rain nothing could be done, I settled for a few laps around in the afternoon of the first day. Capturing the purity of the mountain, without comforts, under a tent, wrapped in rain and wind, is a unique experience to live. In my personal list of things to do in the mountains, sleeping in a tent has always been there. When tackling the mountain, it's important to love it. And to return alive, it's important to be loved by the mountain.
