Today from my vast archive of photos and videos I fished out this one dedicated to the ascent of Monte Leone, the highest elevation of the Lepontine Alps, climbed along the normal Swiss route starting from Passo del Sempione. An ascent done 17 years ago and looking at the images it seems I was there only a few days ago. They are special memories and a mountain worthy of consideration and ascent. The footage quality is certainly not comparable to current ones, as my knowledge and the PC of the time were not the best for processing high-quality and 'professional' looking videos, but I share it with pleasure with all the friends who always follow me with pleasure. It can be an invitation to go there for those who haven't been yet. Enjoy the viewing!
