After reaching it last spring (2021), the following summer and even autumn, for Cima Fertazza I was missing the winter version to its summit cross. And so it was!!
Previous ascents on three different trails, in this winter guise I go directly up trail 569 from Pescul village tackling this long gravel road with a total elevation gain of +663m. Beautiful and yet another experience seeing Val Fiorentina as the sunny valley, where the first mild temperatures already let you breathe the air of a new season, a new spring timidly knocking at our door.
