Description:
Val Masino occupies a large part of the territory of the homonymous valley, with the exception of the southern side of Valle di Spluga, which falls into the municipality of Civo, the eastern side of the valleys of Sasso Bisòlo and Preda Rossa, and the entire Val Terzana (also called Valle di Scermendone: so, for example, on the Val Masino map curated by Count Lurani in 1881-1882; it flows from the northeast into Valle di Sasso Bisòlo, the easternmost of the valleys that make up Val Masino), which belong to the municipality of Buglio in Monte, and the lowest part of Val Masino, which falls into the municipalities of Ardenno and Civo.
