The Vermoispitze is a 2929 m high summit in the southern Ötztal Alps. It rises directly above the Vinschgau in South Tyrol.
From the mountain station St.Martin i.K. on trail No. 6 in eastern direction, past the small pilgrimage church and then turning left following the track through light forest to Alpl St.Martin (1950m). Always following marking 6 in western direction, you reach the fork Niederjöchl -Zerminiger, here keep right on trail No. 9 through dense spruce forest to the treeline. Then with increasing steepness up, first over the grassy and flower-rich flank to a water trough (2370m), then further over the initially slightly flatter "Ochsenbühel" (2420m) and then over rocky, increasingly steep terrain. Now cross some scree fields to the summit approach (2750m) and the last 200 elevation meters over steep switchback path up to the summit cross (2929m).
