Description:
The castle ruin 'Veste Landskron' is located in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald and was built in the second half of the 16th century. 100 years later the castle was already abandoned and after years of decay finally left to ruin. In the 19th century it was a popular excursion destination and even today the abundant remains of the lowland castle in the Landgrabental impress. In addition to the main building, remains of farm buildings on the castle courtyard are preserved. One of the castle's defensive towers is accessible and offers a grandiose view of the complex lying at one's feet.
